Ceramics

One of the handmade products you can find in our gift box from Israel is ceramics. Handmade ceramics can range from home decor to functional plates and mugs. Their ceramic work is inspired by Israeli culture, and the beauty is seen in each piece. 

Ceramics by Batya is one of the ceramics makers we assist by using their ceramics in our gift boxes. Batya has been working with ceramics for more than 18 years. She runs a studio in Itamar and provides classes for all ages and special needs groups. 

Judaica

Our gift boxes may include select handmade pieces of Judaica. Here are some of the categories of Judaica you can look for in our gift boxes:

Judaica is used during certain religious ceremonies and can be a great addition to your home decor. Handmade Judaica can be ceramic Kiddush cups, the Seder plate, or handmade candlesticks.

Chaguta-Happy Designs was created by Chagit Shechter, a business owner who sells through Lev Haolam. She focuses on creating Judaica and other home and kitchen accessories. All her pieces are handmade and inspired by the area she resides in, and Chagit adds the history of Israel to each piece. 

Olga Alievsky, a boutique candle maker, provides some of our candles that can be used during celebrations and ceremonies that involve Judaica. She makes engraved candles and candles that can be used for Havdalah. 

Cosmetics 

Some of the cosmetics you can find in our gift boxes from Israel are soaps, moisturizers, and more. One of our creators is Nicole Yehezkel. She creates natural cosmetics and medicines made from herbs, oils, and flowers. The materials she uses to make are grown directly in Israel. She became interested in holistic medicine through her own pregnancy and used the knowledge she gathered from attending school in Jerusalem to create her handmade cosmetics. 

Sweets

Our gift boxes can come with sweets straight from the Holy Land. Jo Zander of Holy Cacao is one of the locals we gather sweets from. He uses machines he built with his partner to create Bean-to-bar chocolate. He sells his chocolate locally and it can also be found in our subscription boxes. Other sweets you can find in our boxes include honey and date syrup.  

Clothing

Another handmade product you can get with our subscription box is clothing items. Yael Rozmarin is one of the clothing designers and producers that we work with. She has created handmade shawls that we have added to some of our boxes. With our help, Yael can send her handmade items to those outside of Israel and expand her business. 

Jewelry

Our gift boxes from Israel can also include handmade jewelry. Israel culture inspires this jewelry because of its rich religious history. You may find Star of David necklaces, Hamsa bracelets, or other Jewish charms in our gift boxes. Our jewelry comes from local Israeli jewelers. Handmade earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and more can show up in our subscription boxes. 

Other Products

Other handmade products that can be found in our gift boxes include oils, jams, olives, and herbal teas. Nachman Gutman creates all of these products, as well as goat cheese, and pomegranate juice at Sde Bar Farms. He originally created the farm to help at-risk youth and uses his skills to create quality products that can be shipped in our subscription boxes. Nachman uses the history and heritage of the area to inspire him. We also offer wine and housewares in our packages to bring Israel to you or your loved ones.

How It Works

After subscribing, you’ll receive a gift box from Israel each month. Each box holds seven to nine different products from some of these local vendors. We send out a different box each month so you get a unique variety of products. Our packaging is Kosher, and you can request alcohol-free packages as well. You can share these items with friends and family or send the box to a loved one. You can help support these local vendors while receiving handmade products from Israel.
